There was a time in my life when depression, low self-esteem, and a deep sense of unworthiness clouded my mind and heart. My childhood and adolescent years were marked by silent battles—internal struggles that made even the simplest joys feel distant and unreachable. I carried invisible wounds, yet somehow, I also carried a quiet but undeniable hope that there was more to life than what I was experiencing.

Since the age of eight, I knew two things with crystal clarity:

1. Growing up as a preacher’s kid, I had a strong desire to live for God and be used by Him to free the many saints I saw who were bound.

2. I wanted to be a counselor, someone who could help others find peace in the midst of their problems, because I knew what it was like to have none.

What began as a childlike desire has now become my living, breathing reality. Just before my 19th birthday, I experienced a breakthrough that would forever change my life. I overcame depression—not just in a surface way, but on a soul-level—through a transformative blend of faith in God and practical life strategies that gave me a new way to think, feel, and live.

A few months prior to my breakthrough moment, I had hit rock bottom. I was mentally, spiritually, and emotionally depleted. I was ready to walk away from it all—including God—and in many ways, I did. But that hiatus was short-lived. I quickly realized that stepping out from under God’s covering left me wide open to spiritual attacks. After a season of intense prayer, fasting, and tears, God heard and delivered me. He broke the spirit of oppression off of my life and then empowered me with wisdom, insight, and revelation to begin the inner work needed for the years to come. The power of God helped me to get free, but doing the inner work helped me stay free.

Today, I am living proof that you can find light in the midst of darkness and survive to see the other side. I am a licensed therapist, mindset life coach, youth mentor, speaker, and Evangelist. I am also the proud Owner and Founder of Renewed Image Youth & Family Services, LLC, a private practice devoted to helping individuals and families walk in mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness.

Through this work, I now get to do what I once dreamed of doing as a little girl—bring clarity and lift the heavy weight off those suffering with mental and emotional challenges. But my calling goes even deeper. I don’t just treat symptoms; I indemnify spiritual illnesses—a phrase God gave to me in a dream that powerfully confirmed the divine assignment on my life.

My story is a testament of God’s delivering and restorative power. My life rings aloud with the sound of His grace (giving me what I don’t deserve), His mercy (withholding judgment I did deserve), and His unyielding favor (divinely assisting me to carry out my purpose in the earth).

The early chapters of my life were filled with challenges, uncertainty, and dark days. But today, those pages have been rewritten with joy, implanted peace, and a secure confidence in who I am—because of the I AM.

And the best part? I’m just getting started!!
